Refund Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This is a one-time payment. Your plan does not renew automatically and there is nothing to cancel. See our Refund Policy for details. This policy explains when you can get your money back. It forms part of our Terms of Service and never reduces rights you have by law.
1. Our 14 days refund
You can ask for a full refund of a plan within 14 days of buying it, as long as you have used fewer than 10% of included credits of the credits that plan included. After either limit is passed, a refund is at our discretion unless one of the sections below applies.
2. Billing errors
If you were charged the wrong amount, charged twice for the same plan, or charged and the plan did not unlock, tell us and we will correct it or refund the difference in full, whatever the time limit or usage.
3. Faults
If the Service has a fault on our side that stops you using the credits you paid for and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you can ask for a refund of the unused part of the plan. Credits that fail to process on our side are returned automatically and do not count as used.
4. Statutory rights for UK and EU consumers
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. This policy does not reduce that right. If you start using the Service during that period and then withdraw, we may deduct an amount proportionate to the credits you used before you told us you were withdrawing. You also keep all other rights under consumer law, including for goods or digital content that are faulty or not as described.
5. What is not refundable
- Credits already used, except as set out above.
- Plans where more than 10% of included credits was used and more than 14 days have passed, unless section 2, 3 or 4 applies.
- Accounts closed by us for a serious breach of the acceptable use rules.
- Credits that expired at the end of the access period.
6. How to ask for a refund
Email support@receiptmapper.com from the address on your account, or use the contact form. Tell us which plan you bought, roughly when, and why you want a refund. We reply within two business days.
7. What happens next
If we approve the refund, it goes back to the original payment method through Stripe. It usually arrives 5 to 10 business days after approval, depending on your bank. When a plan is fully refunded, its credits and access are removed from your account. Receipt data you already extracted stays available until you delete it or the retention period ends.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank, because we can usually fix a problem faster. If a chargeback is opened we will give the payment provider the records they ask for, and we may suspend the account while it is resolved.
9. If we stop the Service
If we permanently discontinue the Service while you have an active plan, we will refund the unused part of that plan on a pro rata basis.
